USA Rugby Player Launches Athlete Fitness Product AXIUS On Kickstarter

This week AXIUS Core Inc. launched a month long Kickstarter campaign in an effort to fund its all-in-one fitness product which builds kinesthetic awareness and targets the core which is essential for power and movement between the upper and lower body.

Founded by USA National Rugby team member Brian Doyle, the AXIUS eliminates the need for many common workout tools in the weight room. The AXIUS will increase proprioceptors while helping to improve reaction time and responsiveness to unstable environments and situations.

The two-sided device offers different kinds of challenges for the user. Use of the AXIUS ball side down will provide maximum instability and 360 degrees of movement across three planes of motion: tilt, rotate, and roll. Switch to the dome side down for reduced tilt and rotation without the roll.

As mentioned, one of the ways to use the AXIUS is for standing balance training. Included is a set of resistance bands that allow the ability to do presses, squats, curls, and other traditional movements. Additionally, a supplied stability ring can be used underneath to further reduce unsteadiness.ea648013e3ee8a937796d5b656b7d452_original

AXIUS can also be used in ground work exercises such as arching rollouts, reverse rollouts, glute bridges, and push-ups. Weighing a total of 15lbs and having multiple grip positions makes the AXIUS ideal for full body movements during functional weight training, too.

Production is slated for September of this year and AXIUS Core Inc. plans to deliver its new product in October. During the Kickstarter campaign, backers can preorder one of the training systems for a discounted price of $195.
