For the 2016-17 NBA season, ride-sharing app Uber is partnering with sixteen teams to help fans get to and from games in an effort to improve their overall game day experience.
While each team deal is unique, all participating venues will have dedicated pickup and dropoff locations for fans, according to Uber.
“We are thrilled to partner with NBA teams to bring affordable and reliable transportation to their fans across the country,” said Emil Michael, Chief Business Officer, Uber. “At Uber, we are obsessed with solving inefficient transportation experiences. With these partnerships, we take the hassle out of getting to and from the game by providing fans with the seamless convenience of designated pick-up and drop off locations.”
