Technology Firm From Israel Set To Upgrade Real Madrid’s Mobile App

Interacting Technology, an Israeli-based tech firm, specializing in interactive content across online and social media platforms has formed a partnership with Real Madrid to reinvent the team’s mobile app.

The partnership will mean that Real Madrid will have a more efficient and effective way of reaching out and interacting with fans, and that the tech company will see profits that it hasn’t seen before.

Founder and CEO of Interacting Technology Liav Eliash was quoted by The Jerusalem Post as saying “The combination between Real Madrid’s international brand and our community management and monetization capabilities creates a unique potential that will affect the entire global fan community and make them feel closer to the club.”

The original app was launched in May 2015 in a partnership with Microsoft, and has been downloaded over 86,000 times on Google Play. The app offers fans anywhere in the world the opportunity to engage with premium content including full match replays being available in several languages. Users can find information about schedules, match summaries, player profiles and is also linked to the club store.

When the app was launched on May 19 last year, the football club declared, “This application is a result of our relationship with Microsoft and will allow us to contact Madrid fans from every continent. We can all enter the virtual stadium and be part of the club, live the experience and get exclusive content. Thanks to this, the dream of sharing a common place, which we who love the club hold, has been made flesh.”

From here on out the club will be collaborating with the Spanish subsidiary of Interacting Technology and hopes to offer a range of new perks to the loyal fans including, online games and a social hub for fans to interact with other fans and perhaps even club officials.

Dealing with the fan engagement of a powerhouse internationally renowned club such as Real Madrid will not be an easy task, and there will always be new ways to maximize popularity. But for a club to seek help outside of Microsoft, the help must be boasting a stunning resume.
