DALLAS, TX, October 3, 2016 – ParkHub was recently named the Official Parking Partner of AT&T Stadium. George Baker Sr., Founder & CEO of ParkHub and 20-year veteran in the parking industry, said, “Growing up in Dallas, and a longtime Cowboys fan, it is an honor to be a vendor, and now an official partner, with the most visible sports stadium in the world. The Cowboys, through their partnership with AT&T, have shown they will continue to utilize technology to create a world-class fan experience. Our partnership does that for the parking industry, which is why this relationship is a natural fit.”
ParkHub has transformed the industry with its handheld point-of-sale cashier system, called Prime, which is powered by AT&T. The system used at AT&T Stadium allows fans to pay at the parking entrance with a credit card, or purchase their parking ticket in advance through Ticketmaster. These two options were not available prior to ParkHub’s initial involvement at AT&T Stadium. Jud Heflin, Director of Planning & Logistics at AT&T Stadium said, “I believe our fans are very pleased knowing they can now pay with credit cards instead of cash, and they recognize the impact this has had on our overall parking experience. It is a “win” for all those involved: the stadium, fans, and parking attendants.”
In addition, ParkHub’s system allows parking managers to be efficient, responsive, and organized. All transaction times, revenue, inventory, and customer data is being collected in Portal, their proprietary dashboard, in real-time. This industry break-through technology creates visibility for parking managers to make instantaneous decisions on where to deploy resources to expedite the process. At AT&T Stadium, the average transaction time is up to seven times faster because of a combination of all of these features. Moreover, AT&T Stadium will be able to offer guests the ability to pay for their parking using near field communication (NFC) starting with the 2016 football season. AT&T Stadium will be the first Tier 1 venue in the United States to do so.
Jerry Jones Jr., Dallas Cowboys Executive Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, summarized the new partnership with ParkHub. “As one of the most recognized sports venues in the world, AT&T Stadium places a premium on smooth traffic flow and quality services provided to our fans. ParkHub’s parking management has dramatically improved our fans’ arrival into the parking lots and improved our internal controls and operational efficiency around the parking process. ParkHub’s team goes above and beyond to provide a better overall event-day experience for all visitors to AT&T Stadium as well as assisting our operations team in overall parking management.”
