ZAMST, a high-performance sports equipment company, announced that they will continue their worldwide endorsement deal with Golden State Warriors’ point guard Stephen Curry. Curry, considered by many to be one of the best basketball players in the NBA, broke the league record for three-pointers in 2013 with 272, and was also named to the 2014 NBA All-Star Game.

“Stephen is showing everyone what he can do when healthy, and is an amazing talent to watch on the court,” said General Manager of ZAMST U.S., Bryan Smeltzer.

“Our performance driven product line was founded through innovative products created to help players like Stephen stabilize their injury, and provide them with both the physical and mental confidence to play without limitations. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Stephen, providing the product’s he needs to perform at an elite level, and watching him continue to dominant as one of the NBA’s premier point guards.”

Curry has battled ankle injuries since joining the league, and underwent ankle ligament surgery in 2011. Since then, he has been wearing the A2-DX ankle braces from ZAMST, and will continue to this season.

The ankle braces have allowed Curry to stay on the court without persistent ankle issues. The A2-DX brace uses EXO-Grid rigid guards, which help prevent inversion and eversion ankle sprains. The braces also use X-straps to enhance anterior, lateral, and medial stability of the ankle, while the rear entry design proves individualized i-Fit technology that is anatomically correct for both the right and left ankles.

“I’ve used a lot of different braces to help reinforce my right ankle, but since my surgery I have only been wearing the Zamst A2-DX, it has provided the support I need to keep me on the court” said Curry. “The ZAMST A2-DX is the only product that has given me the full confidence to play without the fear of re-injuring my ankle.”
