Detroit-based helmet manufacturer Xenith has been at the forefront of football player safety for some time now. The company features patented Adaptive Head Protection — technology designed to provide a comfortable helmet while minimizing head movement on impact. Thanks to a recent exclusive partnership, Xenith will now supply helmets featuring this tech to athletes in the Rivals Professional Football League (RPFL).
RPFL, a developmental league, was founded in 2014 by Quentin Hines, who said in statement, “We are thrilled to partner with Xenith since the company offers such a technically advanced helmet technology. Player safety is our number one priority.”

As Xenith begins its partnership with RPFL, the company has continued striving for innovation in the field of football player safety. For the past few months they’ve worked in collaboration with students from the College for Creative Studies on something called “Stylizing Safety from Head to Toe for the Football Athlete.”
The class, along with help from product development experts, churned out prototypes for football safety equipment, head to toe. Detroit Lions linebacker Tahir Whitehead attended the final presentation as a special guest. Students laid out proposals including ideas for women’s football gear along with knee and shoulder pad safety solutions.
