Devices presented by X2 Biosystems include xPatch, X2 ICE and Field Kits. The xPatch attaches behind the user’s ear and is comfortable for athletes and easy to use. Additionally, they are travel friendly and waterproof and up to 40 xPatches can be changed with the xCase Team or 12 xPatches with the xCase Mini.
The X2 ICE is an integrated concussion examination. It is a cloud-based software system that can be connected to iOS mobile platforms. It provides real-time, multi-factor baseline comparisons to help weed out if it is a suspected concussion or not. An athlete’s entire career can be tracked and saved by X2 ICE, which helps build long-term profiles of concussion assessment, recovery and return-to-play.
X2 Biosystems primarly works with football, soccer, hockey and lacrosse athletes, but the company’s devices helps in all men’s and women’s contact, gravity and motor sports, as well as military uses.
