Sometimes, the gigantic arena video board isn’t even the biggest screen at NBA games. After the Cleveland Cavaliers pioneered the projection of video and graphics onto the court, the effect has become nearly as ubiquitous as lighting and music during pregame ceremonies across the NBA.

The minds behind the technology and much of the creative design come from Washington, D.C.-based Quince Imaging, which plays a role in the majority of arena and stadium playing surface projections in major sports. From the Final Four to the Home Run Derby, Quince’s projections are one of the newest tools to enhance the in-stadium spectacle.

Join Quince co-founder Scott Williams and Cleveland Cavaliers senior producer Paul Mazzoleni to get the behind-the-scenes look at how software and hardware create the massive projection displays, and how the Cavaliers have incorporated the imaging into Quicken Loans Arena with their own unique designs and campaigns.
