FC Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez appeared last month on a Japanese TV show where people participate in different sports challenges. The duo attempted to hit a drone by kicking a soccer ball at it in a kicking challenge.
The video, which is in Japanese, shows Messi and Suarez at the top of the goal box shooting balls at a drone in a goal.
Before the challenge began, Messi got a chance to try on the flying camera drone goggles. Through the goggles, Messi could see the view from the drone as it rocketed across the field.

Then in the game, the drone was controlled by a drone racing pilot who stood behind the goal and moved the drone back and forth and up and down. A shot clock was set to one minute and began to count down while Suarez and Messi took turns firing soccer balls at the drone.
It came down to the wire, but with nine seconds left, Suarez was able to connect with the drone, leaving the crowd smiling and applauding.
