ViewLift is a full-service content distribution platform for the web, OTT, and mobile that helps monetize media companies, sports leagues and teams and education providers’ content through custom, branded apps. ViewLift has made specific solutions to every device. New website designs and applications are set to launch in the beginning of 2016.

Recently, ViewLift has announced new deals with Monumental Network and Major League Lacrosse (MLL) with the hopes of improving and bringing their content to different outlets and a bigger audience. Monumental Network and the MLL will receive the best viewing experience thanks to ViewLift and the incorporation of Ooyala’s live streaming technology and Perfect Sense Digital’s Brightspot CMS platform.

In January 2013, Monumental Sports and Entertainment (MSE) launched Monumental Network, a digital platform that serves as a hub for the region’s sports and entertainment news. MSE delivers sports and entertainment news across 20 affiliate websites and blogs. It has exclusive and original content and video programming with the Washington Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics. With ViewLift, Monumental Network will revamp their properties and create new streaming apps for devices.

“We are continually striving to improve and create the best experience possible for our fans,” said Monumental Network’s Zach Leonsis. “Today a fan’s game experience extends to reliving a highlight on a mobile device, getting an update on a laptop or watching a player profile at home on a big screen. Our partnership with ViewLift brings it all together, keeps us a leader in technology, and delivers a deeper experience for the greatest fans in sports.”

MLL, a professional outdoor lacrosse league, was founded by Jake Steinfeld and is headquartered in Boston. The relatively new league, made up of nine teams, just concluded its 15th season. But the league still wants to continue expanding and upgrading their website. “Sports and business share two characteristics. Be the best at what you do, and work with the people who you can trust,” commented Steinfeld. “We know the ViewLift teams at all levels, and we know they can help our world-class sport reach new audiences digitally. For us, they were the clear choice.”

ViewLift offers complete end-to-end solutions for creating, launching and monetizing video applications across 27 device platforms, including mobile, TV, and game consoles. It understands each device’s unique requirements and practices. ViewLift is becoming the preferred solution to distribute sports content across multiple devices.

“News, entertainment, sports or educations – regardless of the tops, viewers want to watch on phones, tablets and TVs. That’s true in the U.S. and globally,” said Rick Allen, CEO of SnagFilms, Inc, parent of ViewLift. “We love getting great content to broader audiences, and are grateful to Monumental and Major League Lacrosse for using ViewLift as their platform partner.”

D.C.’s Monumental Network and Major League Lacrosse content will be available on the web, iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and more after the ViewLift revamp.
