Tottenham Hotspur Players Experience New Stadium In Virtual Reality

Tottenham Hotspur F.C. is building a new, sleek stadium. It will hold 61,000 people that will all be packed closer to the pitch the create a “wall of sound.” While the stadium is being constructed, the players were able to experience it in virtual reality.

In between gasps of “wow” and “this stadium is massive,” players virtually walked around the space last week using controllers and VR headsets in order to explore different levels of the stadium, including the bar and the Tunnel Club. That’s where fans can watch players walk out onto the pitch from behind glass. In the Tunnel Club, players can’t see the fans, but fans can see the players.

“It’s an interesting feeling to see the project of the stadium, to see and to feel what the fans are going to see in two years,” Hugo Lloris, the first team captain, said.
