In line with Super Bowl week kicking off, TicketIQ will be debuting its use of hands-free speaker Amazon Echo and its Alexa voice service next week in Houston.
The ticket market aggregator and search engine is working with three-time Super Bowl champion Daryl Johnston, who will be interacting with radio shows throughout the week discussing ticket price information, trends in the marketplace and Super Bowl LI. Alexa, Echo’s voice assistant, will be conducting the play-by-play on the shows with Johnston providing color commentary, a unique use of TicketIQ’s Alexa skill.
Additionally, TicketIQ is giving NFL fans who are still contemplating attending Super Bowl LI a way to track pricing to see if they can actually afford the steep prices. It launched a Super Bowl analytics platform Thursday, which will include various zone-level statistics along with travel and hotel information pulled in from Priceline.com.
