By incorporating Kinetic Dx into their practice, M.O.S.T patients can expect information at their fingertips. Dr. James Glibert, founder of M.O.S.T, will use Kinetic Dx’s series of tests to provide customized treatment and exercise routines based on patients’ individual genetic profiles. He believes that personalized medicine like Kinetic Dx is the best way to get results. He even started to provide the test kits of Kinetic Dx in his office to give an immediate service to his patients.

“M.O.S.T. Sports Medicine takes care of many elite and professional athletes,” said Dr. Gilbert. “We work with Kinetic Diagnostics to fashion a personalized pre-habilitation program using an athlete’s unique genetic information. Our goal is to prevent injuries before they occur and keep our athletes in the game.”contact-img

Athletes and fitness enthusiasts can use Kinetic Dx as a way to receive information about training and personalized tips. It provides genomic profiling, blood chemistry analysis and mobile delivery of evidence-based exercise regimens to help reach users’ goals.

The app first wants users to explain themselves. It asks the basics; what sports do you play, what are your goals, what previous injuries have you had and is there relevant family medical history? It wants to get to know the user’s body and not just his or her gender and age.

This information then allows doctors to recommend genetic tests and blood work. There are two different series of tests that physicians and trainers can use, KDx Biomarkers and KDx Genetic Profiling. KDx Biomarkers is a blood chemistry test that provides an assessment of the patient’s current physiological state. KDx Genetic Profile, the recommended test, looks at a select number of genetic variants that inform how the body responds to exercise and identifies susceptibility to certain injuries and nutritional deficiencies. This information will then suggest personalized workout routines and strategies to give the user a better framework to meet his or her goals.

“This is a great partnership as it is a true win-win,” Trish Brown, CSG, Kinetic Dx’s founder explained. “M.O.S.T. patients have access to personalized information in a way they never have before and we are able to open up a new market in Washington D.C. with the premier Sports Medicine practice.”

Biomarkers tests range from $4.50 to $400 and genetic profiling ranges from $170 to $300.
