1. What is your elevator pitch?

The DoSo app goes beyond telling you WHAT mindset to have, and teaches you the “HOW” to train for the mindset that will help you perform at your best!  Each mindset workout you complete is like doing another “rep” – you build the mental muscle.

2. Problem & Solution

Many athletes have the physical tools to succeed in their sport. Almost all sports psychology and coaching focuses on telling the athlete to just simply HAVE the specific right mindset. The problem is that it is almost impossible to just change your mindset because someone tells you to. To change your mindset you actually have to work at it, and specifically to know exactly what you should be giving your attention to, and what you shouldn’t. Then we need to practice it over and over until we create the correct mental thought patterns.

The solution is the the DoSo mental trainer app because it takes you through daily “mindset workouts” that literally train your brain to respond as effectively as possible.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

All competitive athletes from the youth level up to elite athletes.  The broader market would also include adult athletes that still compete at the tennis or golf club, and runners that are still signing up for races.  Additionally, this app can be used in the business world for anyone that feels that it’s important for them to perform at their best.  The mental skills that succeed in the arena of sport are the same skills that win conference room.

4. Business Model – how do you make money and what has been your revenue to date?

I am a sports psychologist that works with a number of Division I college programs, a pro team, and then has individual athletes that I see in my office.  Almost all of these athletes download and use the DoSo mental trainer app. I also speak at a number of conferences per year, and connect my topic to the mental training found in the app.  The app was just launched last month so we are in the process of trying to promote to users that I do not work with directly.  The goal is for this app to be used by anyone that wants to compete and perform at his or her best, but they do not need to work directly with me in order to see results.

5. Financial needs: are you currently looking for investment? Have you raised investment already? If so, who are your investors?

We have raised the funds we needed in order to create and launch the app. However, we are willing to entertain investors that are interested in purchasing some share of ownership.
