TaylorMade’s myRoundPro, a golf statistical analysis platform, is now available exclusively on Samsung products. The companies announced a collaboration on Wednesday that would make it available for the Gear S3 and Gear Fit2 Pro fitness band.
Fit2 Pro is one of Samsung’s newest products among a line that was released just one month ago.
TaylorMade’s engineers worked with Samsung to develop a myRoundPro experience most compatible with the Gear products. Golfers can use the app to track scores, view yardages from various parts of a course and summarize key statistics at the conclusion of a round.
More importantly, they can do so without constantly going back to their bag for their smartphone. With Gear products, everything is right on your wrist.

One statistical feature included is called Strokes Gained. As opposed to simply using Greens in Regulation, Strokes Gained will provide insight into which part of your golf game is negatively impacting your score most.
For precise end-of-round statistics users can attribute a club within the app to each shot they take. This gives golfers a better understanding of what did and didn’t work during a round. myRoundPro will keep track of every round you’ve logged making it easy to look back at your progress (or lack thereof) over time.
In addition to features for myRoundPro, Gear Fit2 Pro offers heart rate monitoring and built-in GPS tracking. It’s also water-resistant (5 ATM certified) and includes a personal coaching feature to help you meet fitness goals.
