London, England, 30th June 2016 – Aqueduct, Digital Agency, has relaunched http://www.safc.com, the official website of Sunderland AFC, the Premier League Football Club based in the North East of England, to be mobile-first.
Three years after launching the first responsive English Premier League website for Sunderland, Aqueduct continue to lead the club’s digital strategic agenda with another industry first – delivering Sunderland AFC fans the best experience on their mobile devices.
The platform, created in collaboration between Aqueduct and Sunderland AFC’s digital and design team, now serves high definition images for all devices with retina display resolution and full HD videos, thanks to a solution from Stream UK.
The new platform also supports the rapid commercial development of Sunderland AFC providing clear signposting to vital revenue areas from retail, ticketing and conferencing to booking a wedding at the Stadium Of Light or a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland.
The whole project, delivered in 6 months using a co-creation process put in place between Aqueduct and Sunderland AFC, has resulted in a site that celebrates the uniqueness of Sunderland, it’s fans and it’s region.
