1. What is your elevator pitch?

What do parents and youth sports administrators know about…

  • concussion rates at your children’s school or sport’s club?
  • which teams in your area are more prone to knee injury?
  • who to contact when your child gets hurt?
  • who’s responsible for return-to-play clearance on your child’s team?
  • injury prevention and safety education mandates in your state?
  • whether rules designed to prevent injury in youth sports will actually prevent injury?

The answer is overwhelmingly “not much” and the lack of understanding isn’t acceptable.  We have all the answers for professional sports, but fail to provide the same standard of care for children.

InjureFree addresses all of these issues with our web-based, HIPAA/FERPA-compliant, injury reporting platform.  It’s a caregiver communication platform that informs the local youth sports community with data-supported statistics while providing an out-of-the-box concussion education platform for youth sports administrators.

2. Problem & Solution

Youth sports is notorious for poor communication.  Today, caregivers manage recovery through a burdensome amount of emails, phone calls, and paper forms.  This antiquated system reduces positive outcomes and increases organizational liability.

Additionally, with all 50 states passing concussion legislation, communities struggle to comply with the new, unfunded mandates.

InjureFree is the only mobile platform offering the CDC’s concussion education materials and digitally tracks individual training completion in real-time, easing administrative burden, which means no more printing and filing paper completion certificates.  It’s a necessary, centrally-aggregated, turn-key compliance solution.  Custom education materials can be uploaded to address any area of concern, such as CPR, First Aid, or ACL injury prevention training.

InjureFree was designed to improve athlete care and streamline communication between all authorized caregivers, including parents.  InjureFree provides a secure line of communication, including real-time alerts, documented Return-to-Play/Learn clearance, user activity timestamps, and care coordination, setting the standard for youth sports injury management software.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

InjureFree is available to all youth sports and educational organizations.  The total youth sports market represents approximately 55 million participants every year.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

InjureFree’s CDC concussion education delivery and completion tracking is free to any youth sports organization or school.

InjureFree’s injury reporting and communication platform is sold as a yearly software subscription, with a per participant fee for youth sports programs or flat yearly pricing for schools.  Volume discounts are available.

Also, fees are charged to upload custom video education materials, e-signature forms, and to perform API integrations with registration platforms or Student Information Systems.  data-driven descision making
