The GameOn app works by connecting users with friends while they follow their favorite teams. Users can engage in group chats with real-time scores and game updates, sticker sharing, news, and more. When the app is opened, users can create a Crew (group of friends) and start a Huddle. The Huddle is a private group chat with a user and his or her friends that includes live updates on the games and teams being followed.
In addition to the private groups with friends, users can also chat publicly with topics surrounding games or teams. GameOn provides a mobile sports experience to follow games in the NCAA, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and the world’s premier soccer leagues. Users can even find Snoop Dogg chatting on the public chats regarding his Pittsburgh Steelers.
One of GameOn’s best features is the addition of pulling in live scores and stats from games so that users can comment as the games go on. The live scores and stats are pulled from Sportradar.
Snoop Dogg and the rest of the sports social media landscape should be very excited for the future of this app. Anyone who loves sports and wants to talk about them with an equally passionate fan base should check out this app and see what Snoop has helped create.
