The SkyCaddie LINX GT comes preloaded with over 35,000 golf course maps from around the world. It gives users information about the shape of each green and distances from each angle.
“The SkyCaddie LINX GT is golf’s first rangefinder and shot tracking watch with a synchronized mobile app, giving you a powerful system to help play your best,” explained SkyCaddie’s Senior Vice-President, International Sales & Marketing, Jacqui Surman.
With the Bluetooth feature, users can connect the watch to the SkyCaddie mobile app. The LINX GT watch wirelessly syncs with the app in real-time. The app displays shots in HD. To download the SkyCaddie Mobile app, users must have an Apple iPhone with iOS 7 or higher, or an Android 4.4 or higher.

Surman added, “SkyCaddie LINX GT users can discover how far they hit every club in the bag in real-world situations – as opposed to on the range, when the pressure is off. And they can also rely, of course, on golf’s most accurate GPS data combined with golf’s most vivid rangefinder GPS app, to give them distances and views they can trust 100%.”
The SkyCaddie LINX GT is available as a game tracking edition or the tour edition. Game Tracking includes the watch, 15 SmartTags with storage pouch, the app, one-year SkyGolf 360 Premium membership plan with online GameTracker dashboard, divot tool with SmartTag and charging cable. The Tour Edition includes the watch with one SmartTag, the app, a one-year SkyGolf 360 Premium membership plan and a charging cable for £229.99.
Other golfing companies like Garmin and Shot Scope Technologies have released similar products in what seems to be a growing trend within the golf world. The wearables are an investment that will be sure to benefit users with a better understanding of their performance.
