This year, three more high school football programs will receive a donation from the Seattle Seahawks and Volt Athletics of the company’s technology-influenced training platform.
Volt’s technology is personalized to each individual based on age, experience and the position they play. With this information, the technology can better measure how to develop strength, muscle mass and explosiveness. Each athlete from Seattle’s Ingraham High School, Tukwila’s Foster High School and Tacoma’s Stadium High School will receive unique workout plans on the platform’s app where they can view workout instructions, movement technique demonstrations and coaching tips, as well as track sets, reps and weights.
“The Seahawks continue to take a proactive approach in developing the next generation of youth and high school football players, and we’re proud to play a part,” Dan Guiliani, Co-Founder and CEO of Seattle-based Volt Athletics, said in a statement. “We’re excited that we’re able to give back to the local Seattle area, and leverage our technology to provide safe and effective training.”
This matters b/c athletes at under-resourced schools are at significant risk of injury b/c they lack proper training. Thank you @Seahawks.

Last year, the football programs of Washington state high schools Renton High School, Burien’s John F. Kennedy High School and Summer High School all benefited from the inaugural donation.
“It’s all about building a safer game for all players,” Seahawks Vice President of Community Outreach Mike Flood said in a statement. “The Seahawks are dedicated to helping youth athletes get access to the right training resources. Our continued partnership with Volt is a great step toward this goal, and helps provide local coaches and athletes the opportunity to train properly and safely.”
