Quest For The Stanley Cup Returns to ESPN+

The third installment of the docuseries Quest For The Stanley Cup is set to launch this afternoon on ESPN+ and then on the NHL’s YouTube channel later this evening. New episodes of the seven-part series will be released every Friday from now through the final games in early June.

First up, Knights forward James Neal will lead a tour around Las Vegas, Lighting owner Jeff Vinik will meet with fans before his team’s Round Two opener against the Bruins, and Predators forward Johansen will invite the cameras into his home. Episodes will also include mic’d up content and action from the ice.

Quest For The Stanley Cup shows how important the postseason is for players, coaches and their families,” said NHL Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President Steve Mayer in a statement. “This year, by starting with Round Two of the Playoffs, we’re bringing fans into more locker rooms, arenas and homes while capturing the growing intensity for the players and coaches on the ice. This series continues to break new ground in access and storytelling.”

As well as this docuseries, ESPN+ will be giving subscribers access to on-demand replays of action of games from earlier in the postseason. Watch Quest For The Stanley Cup this afternoon on ESPN+ or this evening on YouTube.
