Qlik, a software company based in Radnor, Pennsylvania has announced that it will provide the immense amount of official statistical data for the NCAA Men’s College World Series via NCAA.com.
Founded in Lund, Sweden, Qlik previously known as QlikTech, was initially seen as a business intelligence company. In 2007, the company expanded their user base to 22,000 customers, which resulted in them expanding their network to 100 countries including the United States. Now, Qlik has broadened their services by providing assistance in reporting and self-service visual analysis to guided, embedded and custom analytics. Their user base now stands at 35,000 people, while their worldwide network covers over 100 countries with the help of 1700 partners.

Furthermore, Qlik will be collaborating with Turner Sports to provide the Qlik Powered App for college baseball fans to be in tune with World Series action via the television, computer, or mobile device. The app, which is now live on NCAA.com, will provide statistics for the current College World Series. By using the Qlik Analytics Platform, the dynamic app will aim to be both simple and intuitive for the user so that their involvement and experience with the app can catapult them past being recognized as just the casual fan. With the Qlik app users can go deeper than the casual fan with immediate stats. They can also explore histories of past teams, see different teams, athletes and etc.
