NFLPA To Use Teamworks’ League Athletic Communication Software For Player Information Sharing

The National Football League Player Association and Teamworks, a collaboration and communication software system, have come together to create better communication for players and increase the democratic involvement of the members. The NFLPA hopes that the partnership will also help organization and efficiency and keep the NFLPA as one of the most advanced labor associations in the world.

Don Davis, Senior Director of Player Affairs and Development at the NFLPA, believes that Teamworks can really help the organization. “With Teamworks we can communicated with every active NFL player at a moment’s notice on a mobile device, and can seamlessly share important information with members at every stage of their NFL career.”

The partnership with NFLPA is one of many organizations that Teamworks in involved with, and the software company is steadily expanding its reach. It not only works with other professional sports teams, it is also used in many NCAA D1 teams like Duke and Ole Miss. The software is making the most impact in those students who were using it with their college team, and go on to use it on their pro team. These athletes already have something they are used to in the whole new world of pro sports. Teamworks Founder, Zach Maurides, knows this software is important for athletic success. “At any stage of their career, players now know that the information they need is accessible in the palm of their hand, effectively eliminating potential miscommunications and catering to the connected, mobile world we live in today.”

Most recently, Teamworks has signed agreements with two MLB teams, the Washington Nationals and the San Francisco Giants, as well as signing with USA Baseball.
