COPENHAGEN, May 27, 2016 – After leading the Carolina Panthers to the best record in the NFL and winning the league’s Most Valuable Player Award, Cam Newton is about to take on his latest challenge – his own mobile game. Hugo Games, a mobile interactive entertainment developer and publisher, today announced that it has entered into a worldwide exclusive agreement with Cam Newton to develop, publish and release the first mobile game featuring the NFL superstar.
The deal, brokered by WME | IMG, will bring Newton’s trademark flair, style and athleticism, to iOS and Android devices in late 2016. More details of the game, including the title, will be released in the coming weeks. Hugo Games is becoming a major player in the mobile sports game market and will be making additional announcements regarding other superstars that it is adding to its roster.
