Since December, Twitch has enabled streamers to co-stream NBA G League games on their own channels and effectively be the stars of their own basketball broadcasts. At All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, one of the co-streamers got to serve as Twitch’s IRL (in real-life) Correspondent.
Not only didJustin “UTxJGTheDon” Gates get to attend events and receive press credentials, but he also served as a judge for the G League dunk contest and had on a mobile streaming rig to capture the action.

The NBA also had streaming from All-Star Weekend throughout the weekend, as it promoted how Twitch personality Brennon “GoldGlove” O’Neill — who streams G League games — would be on live.
Guests on Twitch streams over the weekend included the Philadelphia 76ers’ Justin Anderson, Atlanta Hawks’ John Collins, Hall of Famer George Gervin and NBA champion Robert Horry.
