The small startup aims to be a convenient resource for sports players looking to join local sport games. Their goal is to make finding the best sports venues and available players fast and simple.
So how does the process work? First, enter your location, choose your sport and hit the search button. When you have found the best-fit venue for you, make an online booking through the enquiry form. All set! You have booked your epic game. Sports offered on the MyLocalPitch website include cricket, cycling, football, golf, hockey, and more.
The objective of MyLocalPitch is to provide a one-stop shop for fans, weekend warriors, fitness junkies and whoever wants to get in some playing time to look for and book local sports pitches, fields and courts.
MyLocalPitch founders wanted to modernize the often slow process of looking for a sports club or group. MyLocalPitch promotes the idea of cool and diverse crowds that take part in the non-leagues of the sporting world. Their website also provides deals of the week that offer discounted sport bookings at different venues as well as personal training sessions.
The startup has seen success as they have already joined partners with some of London’s largest venues like PowerLeague, Fusion, and GLL. The company is also enhancing their booking site by making an on the go app. The app is expected to launch next month.
This startup is still exclusive to London and Dublin but has created a blueprint for expanding its services elsewhere.
