Kayakers are in for a nice surprise, when they finally try Motionize’s new technology that is capable of advanced tracking, and also stands as a coaching system for kayakers of all skill levels.
The new Motionize system is composed of three parts that consist of a waterproof case and cradle for a user’s iPhone, an activity tracker for their paddles, and an app to help keep track of all kayaking data.
What is neat about this product is the two sensors that attach to the paddles that both feature three accelerometers, three gyros, and three magnetometers that when combined together with the Motionize system, offer the user a great amount of information.
The coaching aspect of the Motionize tracker becomes very useful to kayakers because it helps analyze their ability. By tracking paddling motion such as distance traveled per stroke, for example, the system will show the user detailed information; and help them become a better kayaker. Not only that, an audio-guide feature is also available for coaching that actually leads to results.

Users can kayak worry free, knowing that everything is waterproof, so there is no need to be concerned about damaging the technology. What is also nice is that users will also be able to share their kayaking data through social media by using the mountable dashboard and create a sense of community amongst other kayakers.
