Good thing the NFL listened to Bill Belichick’s idea to put cameras in pylons or this spectacular play by Odell Beckham Jr., which was initially ruled an incomplete pass, may not have been called correctly on Monday Night Football.
This is just crazy: OBJ puts on his ballerina slippers and somehow stays in bounds for an INSANE tip-toe TD grab https://t.co/oUD8ZVleRg

Giants fans and Eli and Odell fantasy owners were loving the view that the Pylon camera captured last night.
This play is just the latest example in a long line of examples that demonstrate why leagues should never hesitate to implement new technologies to help get calls right. Whether it’s umpire cameras in baseball that call balls and strikes or goal-line technology in soccer (looking at you, Euros 2016), the fact is that today technology exists to get every call right in sports and yet some leagues around the world are still very hesitant to use it.
Let’s hope the luddite decision makers in the leagues that have yet to install the proper technology to get all calls right were watching Odell’s ballerina act last night and how important the pylon cameras proved to be.
