The Minnesota Vikings have launched the Vikings Now app for Roku, Apple TV and Amazon TV, becoming the latest team to provide an app for connected TVs.
Launched on the dotstudioPRO platform, an online video platform that delivers streaming video to OTT, the Vikings Now app will share Vikings Entertainment Network content to fans through an ad-based VOD channel. The content includes full episodes of Vikings Connected, Beyond the Gridiron and Vikings Gameplan and includes NFL Network segments and highlights.
“By expanding to connected TV, fans are now able to watch their favorite Vikings videos and stories in 1080p HD right on their television,” Scott Kegley, Vikings Executive Director of Digital Media and Innovation said in a statement. “Working with dotstudioPRO provided us a robust solution and the experience to deliver our premium broadcast quality content experience back into the living room for our fans.”

By using the dotstudioPRO platform, the Vikings can distribute and syndicate exclusive content at any time.
