Facebook has become a go-to platform for streaming live events. Whether it is using Facebook Live or its new show platform, Watch, more and more companies and organizations have turned to Facebook to get the job done.
The Miami Dolphins are no different.
The Dolphins are working with Facebook and ASBN to live stream a weekly high school football game — the first NFL to do this.

The games will feature teams from Miami-Dade and Broward counties and will be available on the Miami Dolphins High School Live page through Facebook’s Watch, which continues to emerge as a place to find live sports.
“By working with Facebook and ASBN, the Miami Dolphins are once again proving to be innovative adaptors by bringing football and technology together,” Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President of Communications & Community Affairs Jason Jenkins said in a statement. “This program will further our mission of celebrating youth football in South Florida and now bring the stories of these coaches, players and teams to a national audience.”

Before kickoffs, the Dolphins will also stream “The Audible: Football Fridays” — a 30-minute program that will be hosted by former Dolphins Kim Bokamper and Joe Rose. This show will preview the high school games that will be streamed and also talk about with is in store for the Dolphins.
The first game — Deerfield Beach vs. St. Thomas Aquinas — drew more than 233,000 views, as the Dolphins’ Ndamukong Suh attended the contest in person to do the coin toss and promoted the stream. The next matchup that will be streamed will between American Heritage and Cardinal Gibbons on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
