Determined to bring the best in-stadium experience for fans this upcoming season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are working closely with networking company Extreme Networks, Inc. and technology integrator SignalShare in bringing unique and exceptional mobile connectivity intended to elevate user experience and enjoyment on game days.
The Jaguars will be using Extreme Networks’ IdentiFi Wireless technology and SignalsShare’s Live-Fi digital network audience enhancement platform for the 802.11ac high-density network. The Extreme Networks system acts as the provider of sufficient bandwidth in order for fans to access and use the multimedia apps without disruption while SignalShare is tasked with optimizing connectivity by creating a wireless network reliable enough to support tens of thousands of fans simultaneously. The Jaguars are also receiving consulting and project management from SignalShare for the support, optimization, and overall deployment of the network
As a result of this new project, EverBank Field will now be equipped with a state of the art Wi-Fi system that allows fans to interact with their mobile devices and access fantasy football, video, stats, and social media all while watching the action on the field. The Jaguars will also be able to use the network as a delivery platform for their apps and offer unique content for fans while using SignalShare’s LiveFI to push targeted in-browser messaging and advertising to mobile devices.
