International Table Tennis Federation Partners With Tellyo In Hopes Of Boosting Content Views

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) is teaming up with Tellyo, a social video production, editing and sharing platform, to increase its social media presence with short-form content.

Tellyo will not only support the creation and sharing of video content on ITTF’s official social media channels, but also stream parts of ITTF matches live on Facebook while showing full games on online streaming platform itTV. ITTF can create video clips of spectacular shots and rallies that can be shared in seconds.

Table tennis isn’t seen on television every day, but it has a large global following. During a trial partnership with Tellyo last month, ITTF reached more than three million fans and had 600,000 Tellyo video content views and is now hoping to continue that uptick in traffic. ITTF was happy with the viewership bump that Tellyo helped to achieve.

“We have found Tellyo to be a great platform for providing short form content for our fans from our top events, in real-time,” ITTF head of communications Matthew Pound said in a statement. “This has increased engagement dramatically. We are looking forward to working with Tellyo to explore new functionalities to further service our fans.”

Pound continued to say that ITTF chose Tellyo because it offered “the best functionality, in a simple layout, for a competitive price.” The majority of Tellyo’s clients are in the sports and broadcast industries.
