Sports Science Technology Company Athalonz is bringing a new innovation to baseball: G-Force Shoes. These are baseball cleats and they aim to improve the efficiency of the kinetic, maximizing Ground Reactive Force (G-Force) by the athlete. Athalonz redesigned the insole, midsole, and outsole of the shoes. By improving the engagement with the ground, the shoes deliver greater power and consistency when hitting, and greater velocity and command of the ball when pitching.
Based off sports science analysis and performance data, Athalonz says their G-Force Shoes are built from the ground up. The patented midsole increases the kinetic energy when a hitter gets into their loaded stance and the foam insole provides additional level of athletic positioning and support.
Athalonz believes that most of a hitter’s power comes from the big muscles of your body like your legs and hips. In addition to that, your body needs a good foundation to exert energy so you do not compromise one muscle over the other. Through their research, Athalonz has concluded that conventional sporting shoes do not deliver maximum force output through the legs. The G-Force Shoes provide immediate gravitational center correction to create a better position for the athlete in space.

“The optimal athletic position would be to have the heel raised slightly and the weight on the inside of the leg,” said Dr. Preston Wolin, Orthopedic Surgeon and founder of the Center for Athletic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. “This drives the toes into the ground so that the energy transfer at the chain begins immediately.”
The Sports Science Technology Company wanted to transform baseball by effectively producing a more powerful swing or pitch. Athalonz aims to create the next breakthrough in sports science technology and did so by teaming up with Major League Baseball players as well as coaches.
The shoes have had some awesome feedback. One MLB infielder said, “G-Force shoes put me in a better hitting position and keep me balanced throughout my swing.” A pitcher reported that, “I don’t know how it works, I just know that I throw 6 mph harder with better control.” Over 30 MLB players and coaches have tested the shoes.
The Kickstarter campaign for the new cleats offers early users to be among the first to own the baseball cleats. The campaign must raise all the funds in its $10,000 goal before the deadline to be granted any of the pledged funding. The G-Force Shoes will costs $139 when they are released.
