Urban bike riders are in for a treat with a recently launched Kickstarter campaign from Rogue Bicycles that introduces two new urban bikes, aiming to enhance the experience of riding in the city.
Rogue Bicycles’ new Rogue C6 and Rogue C6+ are designed for performance, functionality, and style. They come equipped with integrated front and rear LED lights, an anti-theft location-based service, and a GPS system all installed on the frame.
The security of the Rogue C6 and C6+ will surely be one of its strongest selling points. It contains integrated location-based services and can be tracked from anywhere in the world if lost or stolen.
The C6 model features the very first all carbon urban frame-set that weighs 20 pounds and has a strength ratio up to 7.5 times stronger than a standard aluminum frame. The C6+ model features an aluminum frame-set and is slightly heavier at 26.5 pounds. Both feature an 8-speed internal geared Shamano Alfine derailleur and a front and rear hydraulic disk brakes.
“As an avid biker and engineer I set out to design and manufacture the exact bicycle I was searching for; a reliable, technical advanced machine, with the best quality materials” said David Lupafya, the Principle Designer of Rogue Bicycles, in a press release.
A useful feature of the Rogue C6 is the downloadable telematics application that allows a rider to see distance traveled and shows maps, speed, time, hill slope, and elevation all on their mobile phones. A nice bonus is the bike also comes with a weatherproof mountable case.
