HUPU Sports Media, founded in 2004, and InfoMotion Sports Technology have officially announced an extensive licensing and marketing partnership between the two brands. HUPU Sports Media is one of China’s largest online sports brands and will help market InfoMotion’s products such as the 94Fifty basketball within Asian Markets. Each respective company now has access to further update and expand their products in Asia due to this partnership.
The agreement includes HUPU’s promotion of Smart Basketball technology under its own brands in China along with other sections of Asia where there will be a disposal of InfoMotion’s Smart Sports ball products. As one of the largest sports companies in China, HUPU has over 50 million app users, which it will utilize with this new partnership. With HUPU’s gargantuan fan base and InfoMotion’s expertise in sports technology seen in their 94Fifty Smart Basketball, they feel that this is the beginning of a dynamic partnership.

InfoMotion’s 94Fifty Smart Basketball has received many engineering awards. It was named the top mobile and software app from the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and also received recognition in Time Magazine’s top 25 inventions of the year. The smart basketball is programmed to assist the athlete with all skills including shooting, ball-handling, and even has a program called SmartNet which counts the user’s makes and misses.
