Here Are The NBA On TNT Games To Be Streamed In Live Virtual Reality

The NBA on TNT VR app has been launched in advance of the NBA All-Star Weekend, as the festivities in Los Angeles will be streamed in live virtual reality to kick off a slate of weekly games involving playoff contenders offered in VR.

Intel True VR is providing the virtual reality for those with Samsung Gear VR and Google Daydream headsets. The app — available via the Oculus and Google Play stores — takes fans inside NBA on TNT’s Studio J, which was re-created in VR to serve as a portal for fans to watch live games, full game replays, highlights and recaps. Users will need to log in with TV service provider account credentials to gain access.

Games will feature at least four camera angles, enabling fans to control their view from courtside or up in the stands. NBA on TNT and NBA TV analysts and reporters will be providing play-by-play, color commentary and sideline reporting exclusively for the live VR cast.
