Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant Invests In Marketing Platform Zenreach, Joins $30 Million Series C Round


Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant has one of the more diverse business portfolios in the NBA, one that now includes marketing and CRM platform Zenreach.

Durant recently joined Zenreachs $30 million Series C funding round along with Maverick Ventures, Founders Fund, 8vc, Bain Capital Ventures, First Round Capital, SV Angel and actor/venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher.

Even with tremendous growth over the past year, we’ve barely scratched the surface of the online-to-offline opportunity and have decided to bolster our team and resources to accelerate our growth ambitions,” wrote the company on its Medium page.

The round of funding, which now gives Zenreach a total of $80 million raised, will help the company expand into new markets.

With the investment, Durant’s portfolio now includes Postmates, an on-demand delivery service that he bought a stake in last year, in addition to micro investing app Acorns. The 28-year-old Durant also owns a stake in The Players’ Tribune, Derek Jeters sports media publishing platform.
