Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Becomes HotelTonight’s Digital Concierge For A Day

Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green wears many hats: basketball player, father, tech enthusiast and beginning coder. But he recently tried out a new gig: digital hotel concierge.

Last week, Green spent time working at San Francisco’s HotelTonight – a company with a last-minute hotel booking app that allows users to snag a last-minute hotel room at the most reasonable price available.

It was Green’s job to interact with customers on the app when they needed to book a room or inquire about where to go to grab a bite in the city. One user, Ilana, asked Green to recommend a good sports bar for watching March Madness. Of course, she also let him know she was a big Warriors fan.

Green told Afar Magazine he had first used the app four years a go when he was a rookie and needed to book a hotel room in San Francisco because he didn’t want to go back across the bridge to Oakland in the wee hours of the morning. Now, he says he uses it during the season to find hotels for his mother, Mary Babers, when she is traveling to see his games.

Green is averaging 10.4 points and eight rebounds per game. The Warriors host the Houston Rockets on Friday at 10:30 E.T.
