Award-Winning Human Performance Technology Company Collaborates with Sport Science Industry Professionals to Provide Interdisciplinary Support for its Customers

ILLINOIS, Chicago. – June 6, 2017 – Fusion Sport, the leading company specializing in optimizing athlete performance, hosted a conference in Chicago from May 19 to May 21 for users of SMARTABASE, their athlete data management platform.

Guided by sport science experts in extensive seminars and interactive workshops, attendees from Northwestern University, U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Triathlon Canada, Ft Bragg, Tampa Bay Rays, Tennis Canada, Detroit Pistons and more, enjoyed three days of networking opportunities, learning about the latest software features, along with valuable athlete monitoring, analytics, data management and visualization best practices.

The 2017 conference highlights included presentations from keynote speakers Andrew Murray, Director of Performance & Sport Science from University of Oregon, and Dr. Joshua Hagen, STRONG Team Lead of the Air Force Research Labs at the 711th Human Performance Wing. Using various frameworks, the presentations reflected on evidence-based benefits of SMARTABASE and its impact across sports cultures and organizations.
