Sports enthusiasts are in luck.
ESPN has recently updated their SportsCenter app for any diehard fan, with all new features that are sure to satisfy their needs.
The improved SportsCenter app features an all new “On-Air” component that allows users to tune in on live broadcasts on ESPN Radio and WatchESPN. The “On-Air” feature redirects fans to any live games or shows that are featured on the app, but only to those that ESPN owns or has rights to.
Alerts were also improved on this version of the app, letting users see related stories and videos of any Alert they decide to click on. This way, fans get more information and coverage about the stories they care about, without physically watching in front of a TV.
Football fans were one of the main focuses with the launch of this update to the SportsCenter app. They will receive better mobile coverage for the NFL and college football, as fans will have new ways of keeping up with scores and stats while on the go.
The new app is also supposed to be faster and more user-friendly; and is available for free for on iOS and Android devices.
