ESL’s 24/7 EsportsTV Channel To Launch Soon On PlayStation Vue

Global esports company ESL is soon launching its 24/7 esportsTV channel on PlayStation Vue later this month, making it available in the U.S. for the first time. The dedicated channel will be the first linear channel specifically for esports in the United States.

Last May, ESL launched esportsTV in Europe to grow its global audience and make esports content more accessible, eventually reaching over five million households after its rollout.

“EsportsTV is the perfect complement to the PlayStation Vue offering and represents just another step for esports as a form of mainstream entertainment,” ESL executive chairman Steven Roberts said in a statement. “ESL is in a unique position to significantly expand the reach and impact of premium esports content and we are thrilled to bring esportsTV to the U.S. market.”

EsportsTV will be made available through PlayStation Vue’s Elite plan. The Internet-based live television service is accessible on devices such as PlayStation 4, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and others.
