Liverpool, England-based virtual reality company Laduma announced a partnership with the Denver Broncos that will give fans the chance to watch the Super Bowl 50 champs in 360-degree 3D VR.
Laduma-produced 360-degree 3D videos intended to bring Broncos fans closer to the team. The company will use close-up shots from different angles to help create a more in-depth viewing experience. Laduma’s VR will take fans behind the scenes, from inside the tunnel to pregame warmups on the field. The footage will be made available in the near future across the Broncos’ platforms.

Broncos Director of Marketing Ted Santiago voiced his full support of the deal. “The team at Laduma provided a solution for immersive live VR content that puts our fans in the middle of the action whether or not they are able to be at the game,” he said in a statement. “Laduma are true professionals who share our vision in this space which led to a successful collaboration.”
Laduma sees the future of sports fandom rooted in VR, but it is committed to helping clients monetize and market sports-based VR today. The company hired long-time BBC Sport broadcaster Alex South in December to help further the company’s storytelling and broadcast vision.
Laduma has worked with BBC Sport, The Times of London, Liverpool FC, Wimbledon and Abu Dhabi Media Company. The Jacksonville Jaguars are another NFL team that has a partnership with the company.
The LA Galaxy signed a long-term partnership with Laduma, which included a six-part, player focused VR series that featured Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole. The VR series was made available through the Laduma VR app and the LA Galaxy’s VR app.
