Custom Digital Baseball Card Company Announces Partnership With Hall Of Fame

Rookies, the custom baseball card app creator, is coming out with a special baseball card for this weekend’s Baseball Hall of Fame induction of Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza.  Users can download the app, Rookies, in the Apple Store and start making personalized “Future Hall of Famer” baseball cards that can be printed or shared on social media.

Rookies Founder Matt Sebek is excited to be a part of something as great as the Baseball Hall of Fame. “The National Baseball Hall of Fame is an iconic destination – not only for baseball’s greats, but also for fans that want to pay homage to their heroes. Offering brands and organizations a creative way to interact with fans is the next evolution for Rookies and we could not be happier to kick it off with an organization as engrained in the fabric of American sports as the National Baseball Hall of Fame.”

This weekend, fans can create their own personalized Baseball Hall of Fame cards with the app and by sharing it on social media with the hashtag #HOFWKND they could win a free pack of cards they created.

It was also made clear by the Baseball Hall of Fame that this weekend’s partnership isn’t the end of partnerships with Rookies. Sean Gahagan, the VP Retail and Licensing at the Baseball Hall of Fame said he would like the partnership to continue and hopes to offer more to the visitors of the Hall of Fame. “We are excited to work with Rookies and bring an interactive experience to baseball fans, young and old, in a way they haven’t experienced before. This partnership extends well beyond this year’s induction ceremony and we look forward to offering additional capabilities to our visitors in the future.”
