One of the immediate bonuses for fans that comes with Red Sox Replay is that there will be lower fees for buyers compared to competing sites. Additionally, in a digital-savvy approach the tickets will only be available electronically with no physical tickets created.

And Red Sox season ticket holders who utilize Red Sox Replay will have the option of a full fee reimbursement towards the renewal of their season ticket account.

Red Sox Replay will launch on March 1 and it will be accessible on mobile devices and through the free MLB.com Ballpark app.

To launch this new ticketing platform, the Red Sox opted out of their StubHub and Ace Ticket deals. This will certainly have other teams in the league keeping a close eye on how this plays out for one of Major League Baseball’s most important franchises.
