Blue Star Sports Expands Its Youth Sports Software Services With Goalline Acquisition

Blue Star Sports, a tech company that creates organizational youth sports software, has recently acquired their third youth sports company.  The newest company they acquired, joining Pointstreak Sports Technologies and Bonzi, is Goalline. Goalline provides web software and mobile applications to help sports programs to work less on the administration side and more on coaching the sport.  All three companies that Blue Star Sports has acquired are sports management programs that use technology to organize and provide support for teams.

Blue Star Sports, which has gained financial backing from Jerry Jones owner of the Dallas Cowboys, is a fast growing company. As it adds a new company it is able to offer more to its customers, “We set of to find the best and brightest technology companies in youth sports so that we could create and offer our customers the most advanced customer centric solution in the market. Adding Goalline to the Blue Star sports portfolio accomplishes that.” said Rob Wechsler, CEO and Founder of Blue Star Sports. With the acquisition of Pointstreak they gain an international company with sports technology solutions. Bonzi adds a vast suite of sports management software that allows users to manage anything from payments to rosters. The addition of Goalline adds about 8 million users and an even larger suite of products that make sports management easier.

The goal of the company is to create a space for innovative youth sports management, by having a centralized area for all operations on their platform. Blue Star Sports has yet to release any further information on what they may acquire next but they are clearly in a growth stage.

Their social media highlights the numerous new partnerships with sports leagues in the last few weeks, such as with the Amature Atheltic Union.

These partnerships will likely continue and grow in the coming months, as youth sports is a market where technology is increasingly saturating.
