Clermont have suffered a blow after Wales international tighthead prop Aaron Jarvis was ruled out for up to six weeks with a wrist injury.
The best case scenario for the 30-year-old is that he’ll return in four weeks in a busy and crucial period of the season approaching Christmas.
Jarvis suffered the injury while playing against Pau last week and he will definitely miss the back-to-back Champions Cup clashes with Ulster.
