Benetton and Glasgow Warriors claimed wins over Zebre and Edinburgh respectively in the two PRO14 derbies played on Saturday.
Zebre 16-20 Benetton
Zebre may have had the overwhelming majority of the possession and territory in this encounter but they could not make it count.
Fly-halves Carlo Canna and Marty Banks traded a pair of penalties apiece as the sides went into the interval on equal terms.
The game sparked into life in the 45th minute when Jayden Hayward crossed the whitewash for the visitors. Banks added the extras.
Soon after, the hosts hit back with a well-worked try which saw winger Mattia Bellini going over at the end of it to level matters at 13-13 after 51 minutes.
But it was Benetton lock Dean Budd who had the last laugh when he bashed over from close range after the a series of powerful carries from the away side's forwards as Benetton ran out 20-16 winners.

Glasgow 17-0 Edinburgh
Glasgow dominated the possession and territory in this encounter and ran out comfortable 17-0 winners thanks to the boot of playmaker Finn Russell who kicked four penalties.
In a cagey first half, the only scoring action was a Russell penalty before the stadium had to be evacuated due to a fire alarm being set off.
And after a bizarre 20 minute delay in which supporters had to re-enter the stadium, play resumed with the last two minutes of the first-half abandoned.
Russell extended the hosts' lead to 6-0 two minutes after the interval with a penalty goal. And 15 minutes later, the Glasgow playmaker made it a 9-0 lead with a further penalty.
After Hamish Watson was penalised for not rolling away, Russell added his fourth penalty in the 72nd minute. The hosts put the cherry on the top as Lee Jones went over in the corner after the hooter had sounded for the game's only try. Both sides ended with 14 men for some late afters with Chris Fusaro and Fraser McKenzie getting the respective yellow cards for their sides.
