Leicester Tigers recent signing Matt Toomua has to undergo surgery after injuring his knee.
The Wallaby utility-back will be out for six months after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament, according to the Leicester Mercury.
Toomua has only represented the club twice after coming back from a concussion and then was injured again playing against Racing 92 last weekend.
