It is that time of the week when we put our heads on the chopping block with Planet Rugby’s predictions.
What a schedule this weekend provides as the Six Nations is joined by Super Rugby, Premiership, PRO12 and Top 14 action. It's a busy one.
As always, Paddy Power is our chosen bookmaker for rugby betting so without further ado, let's go through the markets and pick some gems.
Once again Paddy Power has the special of if your winning first try-scorer scores a second try in this match, they will double your odds. Let's get on Wales wing George North here at 9/1 as he looked to be back to somewhere near his best form last time out for his country.
The match itself looks like ending in a Welsh win – if they can avoid an arm-wrestle – and we go for Wales by 1-12 points which is 13/10.
Dubbed the wooden spoon decider, Italy and Scotland will fight it out on Saturday in a game we think the visitors will sneak by 1-5 points. That winning margin in Rome is priced at 9/2 but if you think it will be an Azzurri victory by the same margin, that can be taken at 13/2.
Outside centre Michele Campagnaro is a very good price of 6/1 to cross in 80 minutes while John Hardie for Scotland (11/2) also looks good.
Last but by no means least, Twickenham is the setting for England's first home match. They are 2/7 favourites or minus 8 on the handicap. We think Ireland are worth backing with that head-start as it's unlikely Joe Schmidt's men will be brushed aside. They are 16/5 outright.
There's a few match specials from Paddy Power and we like England captain Dylan Hartley to receive a yellow card, which is priced at 9/1.
Let's go for a possible big payout on the opening round of this competition and put a four-player anytime try-scorer accumulator together. Ruan Combrinck (Lions, 11/10), Charlie Ngatai (Chiefs, 10/3), Willie le Roux (Sharks, 9/5) and Dillyn Leyds (Stormers, 9/5). That's 78/1.
