Vodacom Bulls fly-half Handré Pollard has undergone surgery to repair ruptured knee ligaments in his knee.
The Springbok playmaker has been ruled out of rugby for at least nine months following a freak training ground accident on Monday.
But the 21-year-old was all smiles after coming out of surgery on Wednesday with high hopes of returning to full fitness for the 2017 season.
